Red lentil dhal
Travel to india with this delicious dahl ! This recipe is full of plant proteins and naturally Vegan ;-)
Preparation

Pour oil in a pot. Cook the chopped onion with the cumin.

Add garlic, ginger, clove, chili powder, cilantro powder, cardamom powder and stir.

Add the tomato paste and the coconut cream. Mix and simmer for 5 minutes. In the meantime, rinse the lentils.

Add the lentils, salt, pepper and water. Stir and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes after boiling.

After this time, remove the clove.

There you are ! Your dahl is ready ! Serve it with some rice and a naan :D

Observations:
You can replace ginger powder by fresh ginger and coconut cream by coconut milk.
If you like it spicy :
Cook the lentils separately. Add them into the sauce and stir for 5 minutes.
