Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into slices and arrange them in a baking dish.
Add the crushed garlic clove, salt, pepper to taste, and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake for 30 minutes at 390°F (200°C).
Add the cod fish, some salt and pepper, and drizzle some olive oil on top. Place lemon slices, bay leaves, and fresh rosemary on top.
Bake for another 20 minutes at 390°F (200°C).
And there you have it, your baked cod is ready!
Observations
You can steam the potatoes beforehand or boil them and finish cooking them in the oven with the cod.
