Slice the rump steak thinly. Mix the flour and paprika, and coat each slice of meat in this mixture.
Cook the meat quickly in a pan with hot oil for about 3 minutes; we just want to sear it. Set aside.
Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion. Add the sliced mushrooms and crushed garlic. Cook until the mushrooms become tender.
Add the water, stock cube, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for about 10 minutes to reduce the sauce.
Finally, add the sour cream, lemon juice, and the meat. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Serve with rice or pasta.
