Stir-fried taucheo chicken with green chillies
Taucheo, or otherwise known as Fermented Bean Paste or Soybean Paste, is a very popular ingredient in the Asian Cuisine.
With the addition of green chillies, they give the dish a little heat as well as a punch of fragrance in the succulent chicken cubes.
Ingredients
Number of serving: 3
6 big Button Mushrooms
2 Green Chillies
1 tsp Soybean paste
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Olive oil
50 ml Water
½ tsp Soya sauce
1 tsp Cornflour
Dash of pepper
Preparation
- Rinse chicken strips and cut into cubes. Marinate for about an hour.
- Rinse chillies. Deseed and slice them.
- Heat oil and fry chicken on high heat to seal the juices. Lower heat, add mushrooms, green chillies and seasonings and stir-fry well.
- Pair your Stir-Fried Taucheo Chicken with a plate of fragrant rice and vegetables, and you will have one meal settled!
