Sweet potato puzhukku.......thrikarthika special

Ingredients

• Sweet Potato - 2 Nos [ Had almost 2 cups after cubing them]
• Grated Coconut - 2 tablespoons
• Green chillie - 1 large
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
• Salt - 3/4 teaspoon
• for seasoning on top [ I skipped this]
• Oil - 1 teaspoon
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
• Curry leaves - 1 petal

Sweet potato and coconut cake

Preparation

• Peel and wash the sweet potatoes. Cut them into small cubes and cook them with 1/2 cup of water in a pan.
• Dry grind ingredients 2-4 in a mixer and keep.
• Once the potatoes are 3/4th cooked, add salt and turmeric powder along with the ground coconut mix.
• Mix it well and allow to cook for another 2 minutes. For seasoning, take a small pan and add oil.
  
• Once hot, allow the mustared seeds to sputter and then add the curry leaves. Top this over the prepared puzhukku and serve hot.
