Also known as "chouchous", these homemade praline peanuts are super easy to make. Explained step by step below, you'll see that this recipe is foolproof :-) It's a chance to bring the fairground to your home, much to the delight of children. Put the sugar and water in a pan over medium heat. Once the mixture starts to form large bubbles, add the peanuts and stir.
Stir constantly with a wooden spoon.
The caramel will crystallize and form a sandy texture around the peanuts. Remove the pan from the heat, place the peanuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and let them cool.
And there you have it, your candied peanuts are ready!
