Chocolate-drizzled pretzel

Ingredients

• 2 tsps active dry yeast
• 1/2 tsp white sugar
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 2 tsps canola oil
• 1/4 cup warm water + a bit more
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 2 cups hot water
• 2 tbsps melted butter
• 1/4 cup toasted almonds - rough-chopped
• 1/2 tbsp sugar
• Melted chocolate (I used a couple of dark Lindt squares), thinned out with some milk
