Ingredients

Number of serving: 5
250 g steamed cake powder

10 g cocoa powder

1 egg

150 ml milk

100 g sugar (omit this if cake powder already included sugar)

chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Sift steamed cake powder & cocoa powder.
  • Using a electric whisk beat milk & egg until frothy. Add in flour mixture in 3 batches and beat till smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon batter into lined muffin cups until almost full.
  • Dip a knife in some oil. Cross-section the surface of each cup. (this will ensure the steamed cake will split nicely).
  • Steamed over boiling water for 20 minutes.
