Ingredients

• ½ cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (I used Jif)
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 ¾ cup all purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

• Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
• In a large bowl cream the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars together until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
• In a medium bowl stir the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix well.
• Add the chocolate chips and stir.
• Drop round teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 10-12 minutes for soft, chewy cookies. Bake 13-15 minutes for crisp, golden brown cookies.
• Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
