White cabbage with bacon
Got some leftover cabbage? Here’s a great idea to turn it into a delicious side dish! Instead of enjoying it in a salad, cook it! Take a quick look in the fridge for that pack of bacon you have left. Perfect! Add it in, and you’ll have an ultra-easy recipe to whip up! It’s the kind of dish we love to make on lazy evenings when we’re unsure what to prepare for dinner but still want something homemade ;-)

Bring the water to a boil with the stock cube, then set aside. Cook the bacon in a hot pan.
Once the bacon is cooked, add the thinly sliced cabbage. Stir gently.
Add about 1/4 of the stock, stir, and let it cook.
Repeat this process for 40 minutes, keeping the heat on medium/high, and regularly adding stock.
And there you have it, your cabbage with bacon is ready!
Observations
White wine: To enhance the flavor of your cabbage with bacon, feel free to add 50 ml of white wine at the beginning of cooking.
