  • Flaky vanilla twists - Preparation step 1Combine the egg with half of the sugar and add the corn starch. Mix well.
  • Flaky vanilla twists - Preparation step 2Bring the milk to boil with the other half of the sugar and the vanilla. When it boils, pour the milk in the egg + sugar + corn starch bowl. Mix well and pour it all in the pan.
  • Flaky vanilla twists - Preparation step 3Return to the heat and whisk until the mix boils. When it boils, whisk for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Flaky vanilla twists - Preparation step 4Add the butter gradually and whisk. Cover with plastic foil. Refrigerate. It has to cool down completely.
  • Flaky vanilla twists - Preparation step 5Unroll the first puff pasty sheet. Spread the custard on half of the pastry sheet and fold it.
