- Beat butter until creamy. Add salt, egg white, vanilla extract and powdered sugar and mix well.
- Add the flour and beat until smooth. Transfer the dough to a container and place in the microwave for 15 sec. to soften slightly.
- Pipe the dough into a pastry bag fitted with an 8 mm nozzle. Shape the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet: form a "W" shape (you can also make "S", "O", "I" shapes).
- Bake for 12 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Remove and leave to cool.
- Melt the chocolate and dip half the cookies in it. Leave the chocolate to dry by placing the cookies on a cold baking sheet, then chill.
- All set!
Observations
Before putting the dough in the microwave, you can do a test: if the dough is too compact, heat it and it will be easier to use.
You can shape your cookies into "S" or "W" shapes, or into "O" or "I" shapes (much easier to shape! ).
You can use a larger nozzle if you wish.
