French toast with smoked salmon and poached egg

A great snack with rich and balanced flavor. It's so quick and easy that you can cook it for any occasion whether it be unexpected guests or just short lunch.


Number of serving: 3
5 slices white bread

3 large eggs

5 slices of smoked salmon

20 ml cream (about 18%)

25 ml Olive oil


  • Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl; beat lightly with a fork.

    Stir in salt and cream. Place the bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl, letting the slices soak up the egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side.

    Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side.

    Serve french toast hot with slices of smoked salmon and poached egg.
