21st Birthday Dinner
Last night?s birthday dinner at Dragonly was really great! We sat down to dinner around 7:45 and I, of course ordered a drink. I chose a Mango Madness Martini. It tasted like the beach (spiked with mass amounts of alcohol). The only thing missing was the cabana boy?
I enjoyed it? Although someone pointed out that my eyes look like olives in this picture.
I was about this far in?
?when I started to feel it. I promise I?m not a loser, but this was my one and only 21st birthday drink. And I couldn?t finish it. It was so strong!!!
Of course there was delicious food. The waitress suggested a roll that was not on the menu called The Boss. It had tempura shrimp, avocado, crab, and tuna and was topped with tempura flakes and spicy mayo. It was decadent and delicious! And the presentation was beautiful. There was even a wasabi dragonfly. So cool!
I tried to finish my martini after sushi, but let me just tell you?mango and wasabi do NOT go together!!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and celebration at Dragonfly. We had a really nice time! I didn?t get a whole group shot though! There was eight of us there. Here are a few pictures?
And Christie gets a solo shot because she?s just so darn cute? She?s my yoga
This morning I woke up bright and early to get to Tampa. I left around 7:30 (after munching on half a Larabar and some I wanted to keep it light since it was about 10:00am when I got home and Mom and I have a lunch date. Didn?t want to spoil my appetite! And I wasn?t too hungry, I think thanks to the decadence of last night?s meal.
Phew that was a long one. Thanks again for all of the birthday wishes! You guys are so sweet and thoughtful. See you later! related searches : St
