Chittinad Chicken Kuzhambu
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1kg Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp Onion - 1 cup Tomato - 1 cup Clove - 3 cinnamon - 1 Mustard seeds Curry leaves Coriander leaves Salt to taste To grind: cumin seeds - 1 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp Poppy seeds - 1/2 tbsp Pepper - 1/2 tsp Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup Red chilli - 5 Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Direction : Marinate chicken with turmeric powder,chilli powder and salt. Make a paste of ingredients under 'to grind'. Heat oil in a pan and add clove,cinnamon,mustard seeds and curry leaves. Now add onion with small amount of salt and saute well. Add tomato and chicken. Saute them for 10 minutes. Now add the ground paste and add water and salt as you need. Boil it for half an hour. Finish it with coriander leaves. Our kuzhambu is ready...
