Plantain peel - 1 cup

Salt to taste

Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

Turmeric little pinch

Oil - 1 tsp

Curry Leaves few strings


  • First take the Plantain peel cut this into long lenght wise and clean well with water. Place the pan and heat it.
  • When it gets heat add the oil.When the oil gets heat add the plantain peel,turmeric and salt.
  • Mix it well and cover and cook in low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes the peel cooks well now add the chilli powder and pepper and mix well.
  • Finally add the curry leaves and fry for 1 more minute and transfer the curry to serving bowl.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
