Hidden Oats

By Marens Morsels (Visit website)

Good morning guys. Happy Wednesday. The week is half over. I?m still pretty stressed since I have tons of deadlines all falling on Friday but I?ll be happy once Friday hits and everything is done, the all nighters will be over.

We Win! Again!

This is our gym, I thought you might like to see it. The JV team beat Everette Alvarez last night to continue our perfect season and the Varsity won too! They?ve been winners now for 2 games in a row. I hope they can continue through the end of the season like this. Last night they played really well.

If your following my Fitness Circuit Plan here?s day 3.

Day 3

Regeneration Day! Just do stretching, like yoga or pilates and let your muscles rest.

My muscles definitely need a little rest. They?re pretty sore. I haven?t used them like this since basketball in college.

Breakfast

I made hidden oats that are really just instant Maple & Brown Sugar oats covered in 1/4 cup almond milk and a little handful granola.

To the packet of instant oats I added:

milled flax seeds
salt
vanilla

These were delicious. The almond milk and the maple flavor went together really well. I love yummy breakfasts that are super simple.

I also enjoyed my usual two cups of coffee with almond milk.

Lunch: Whole Foods HLS Caesar Salad with whole wheat croutons, parm, and a vegan caesar dressing.

Snack: Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip LARABAR. I couldn?t stay away. Picture courtesy of Hangry Pants.

Dinner: Our friends Sarah, Mikaela, and their new roommates made Taco?s for us. We had chicken tacos with grilled squash and zucchini, rice, beans, salsa, and a taco salad from SAFEWAY on the side. I sipped about a third of a Blue Moon while we waited for the tacos to cook and we ate chips in salsa. Yumm!

That?s all she wrote folks. I?m sorry I haven?t been stopping by your blogs. I have too much school going on. I?ll hopefully be back Friday afternoon.
