Holiday Shop is Open!
 I mentioned earlier that I would open up for just a few days for the holidays so you can order some body cream or facial cream and have it by Christmas. I started making up the ones I am giving to friends and family as gifts, and have put some up in my old 1000 Markets shop. I have 5 different facial creams from which to choose right now, including one I had planned to release before I closed in September--the Special Luxe Cream for ultra dry/dehydrated skin. I plan to stay open through the middle of next week to make sure orders are made and shipped by December 16th. I will have to play that closing date by ear as orders come in so I can determine if I need to close sooner or stay open a day or two longer. December 9th will most likely be the cutoff for ordering, though. I have two body creams listed right now--the Comforting Blend and the Nutmeg Creme. If I have a chance, House Blend (lemon-vanilla) and Candy Cane Twist (peppermint and vanilla essential oils) will be listed, too. I plan to reopen for a brief time 4 or 5 times a year like this--look for me to have more items in time for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day in 2010. Also important to note, I am participating in the 1000 Markets Gifts That Keep on Giving program. Many shop owners have chosen charities and will donate a portion of their profits to some great causes. I have pledged to donate 20% of my profits to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Since 2007, I have raised money through my business for this cause and plan to do so until a cure is found. Note: I am also participating in the "Giftshipper" program at 1000 Markets. This means that if your item is a gift, I will wrap it in holiday gift wrap, enclose a handwritten card, and ship directly to your gift recipient at no extra charge.  related searches : Holiday
