I like to Looketlooklet (Part 2: The Exemplar)
And speaking of the Best of 2009, Lemme showcase the Second Part of my 2009 Looklet Collection.. (Lol!) The Exemplar These were my personal designs created from looklet.com. Hopefully I'll be able to make more styles in this new year. To view more of my looklet designs, click here My favorite color combinations - Black, White, and Red. For the reasons, that it is sexy, bold, strong, provocative, classic, and it shows a lot more attitude and extra omp! Not everyone wearing such combination can pull it off. All black doesn't always means goth and dark. It is classic, elegant, safe, and slimming. It maybe safe and common, but you need to know how to play with fabrics and layers to eliminate that impression. Black maybe simple, but it depends on how you put it all together. More of the blacks........ Oscar's Red Carpet Looks Dangling Earrings lengthens the Neck, creating a defined and sexier curve on that area. It accentuates your neck and collar bones. And it adds glow to your face. I'm more of a minimalist when it comes to fashion. So basically, it is not necessary to wear a necklace with a chunky pair of earrings. This is a combination of black and soft baby pink with some subtle prints in hosieries. Cute and chic for cocktail dinner and parties. Short dresses blend well in parties, but might imply two things --- it is safe, therefore hardly noticeable when you are in a crowd of people wearing all galas. But the big brooch makes it stand out among the crowd. Got this inspiration from Carrie Bradshaw. These two cocktail dresses also give the impression of "I'm not a girl anymore, but not yet a woman either." Sounds like the Britney song... haha Loose tops like this can be flattering to people with small frames, but not to bigger and shorter people. Well it depends on the length of the cut if it is proportion to you height and figure. It's either you make it or you break it. We all know that usage of leather and furs in fashion industry is still a debatable issue among PETA advocates, vegans, other NGOs, fashion designers, manufacturers, and celebrities. I am personally against it too. But doesn't mean to sacrifice not adapting its looks. Synthetics and faux manufactures are good alternatives, only that they are inferior in terms of quality. Doesn't matter, social responsibility comes first before vanity. Like I always mentioned on my previous blogs, I am a huge fan of vintage fashion, art, and other designs. Here is my 20s flapper girl. Fashion of the early 30s, where there are still some of the 20s looks. Hair is soft, short, and wavy, and sometimes covered with a close fitting "cloche" hat. Fur stoles which are adapted from the late 20s. Chunky and multi layered necklaces are in. Bold Prints make a statement even with just the simple black and white. Gives the apprehension that you're one helluva serious shopper and a certified mod..... Funkier version Tired of the simple black and white match? Don't be afraid to play with prints and textures..... Sultry and Fierce in printed corset. Sexy doesn't have to show too much skin. Leave the rest to your imagination....... ;-)
