Layered Chicken Broccoli Bake

Quick-to-fix, all-in-one - what more could you ask for on a lazy winter afternoon?  You?ll find several layers of goodness - rice, broccoli, chicken, sauce, cheese, and herbed bread cubes on top.  It?s even simpler to make when you utilize a rice cooker if you have one.


Unless you have a broccoli-hater at your home, this will simplify your weekday meal preparation.  I made this for Sunday dinner, and it was great.  My family decided (at the last minute) they could come to dinner - so my plans to make something for myself from the freezer were shelved for a few days.  I was surprised their little ones were happy to eat this - after all, it?s ?mixed up? (a no-no for most kids)
