Oriental chicken salad | country cooking recipes

Ingredients

• One quarter cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon . sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon . olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 3 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
• One quarter cup green onions, chopped
• 1 11-ounces. can mandarin oranges, drained
• 1 6-ouncescan water chestnuts, chopped
• One quarter cup sliced almonds
• One third cup rice noodles
• 1 small head Romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces

Preparation

• Combine first 5 ingredients in a cruet and shake well.
• Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and toss.
• Just before serving, pour dressing over salad and toss.
