Methi Dal
Ingredients:- Methi leaves-1 cup Green chillis-4 to 5 nos(cut into slit) Toor dal-1 cup Garlic pods-5 nos (cut into pieces) Mustard seeds-1 tsp Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp Red chillis-1 no Hing-1 pinch Turmeric powder-1pinch Curry leaves-few Salt to taste Oil-2 tsp Method:- Wash the dal and cook in a pressure cook it. Heat a pan and add the oil.When oil is hot add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,when it pops up add green chillis,red chillis,hing,curry leaves,gralic pieces fry till it changes the color. Now add methi leaves and turmeric powder fry till its cook. Now add cooked dal and water,salt mix well. Cook it for 5 to 8 minutes. Transfer the dal to a serving bowl.
