REVIEW: THE RIVER'S EDGE CAFE & ESPRESSO
I just got back from having lunch at The Rivers Edge Cafe & Espresso which is located at 8740 La Riviera Drive. It's in a little shopping center near the Big Lot's store.
Let me say that it was a nice lunch! As I walked inside there was an upbeat energy to the place. It was very clean & it had some nice oil paintings hanging on the walls. Apparently one of the customers is a painter & The Rivers Edge has allowed him to display his work. I sat at the counter which had a nice flat screen TV on the wall. Looking over the menu I decided on the Hot Pastrami sandwich on rye bread with sauerkraut & Swiss cheese. The sandwich came with fries and I ordered a coke. What I noticed is that the employees seemed to like their job. Most of them looked like they were college students. They liked what they were doing. Everyone of them had a good attitude. They were all very polite. This is so important in the Restaurant Business. It took awhile for my order to arrive, but it was worth it. The Pastrami was pretty good. The rye bread toasted, the Swiss cheese melted. It was a "double decker" sandwich so there was plenty to eat. The fries were super crispy. The total for my meal was $12.12. I left $15.00 for the meal. Worth every penny! Will I go back to the Rivers Edge Cafe & Espresso? Yes, in a heartbeat. I give the Rivers Edge Cafe & Espresso 3 out of 4 stars! related searches : Review
