Sunny Sunday and Movies

This morning Linsey and I woke up knowing we had only a short time left before Jason and Regan would be home. Our glorious “girls only” weekend would be over.

So after taking the dogs on a short walk we decided to go out for breakfast (again) mainly because I needed coffee and we were out of almond milk. So we hit the sidewalks for our last Mother/Daughter breakfast at Bread Co.

She had a blueberry bagel and I had my usual Bread Co breakfast (I’m kind of a creature of habit when it comes to food) jalapeno breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and sun dried tomato cream cheese. A large hazelnut coffee on the side – as usual.

I cannot tell a lie – this weekend has been so nice. Spending time alone with Linsey has been great. I love Regan, but she demands so much of my attention most of the time I feel like Linsey gets left out sometimes. This weekend was all about us.

After breakfast we took the walkhome and LInsey wanted to show me a “secret place” she knew about near the local library. It was actually really awesome!

This little garden, sitting area place was tucked right behind some bushes and a fence right off the main road. It looks like a really peaceful place to sit and read a good book you’ve checked out from the library.

Then we moved on to even more fun. Who knew a walk home from breakfast could be such a great time!

Another Silent Auction

I am trying my hardest to raise the money to make the trip to San Francisco for the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival. I have had some really great people offer up some really great items for Silent Auctions, but so far NO BIDS!!! I’m kind of shocked actually because they are really great prizes. After (FINALLY) unpacking all of our DVD’s I realized we had duplicate copies of quite a few. So I picked out my favorites that were still in the wrapper and am offering them up for auction to you.
