- Clean the fish well.
- Add the oil to a pan and season with mustard,red chillies and curry leaves.
- Now add the finely chopped onion and saute well.
- Add the ginger and garlic and saute for sometime.
- Once done,add the chopped tomato pieces.
- Let this cook for a while.
- Then add the chilli powder,turmeric powder and the coriander powder and cook till the raw smell disappears.
- Once done,add the tamarind water and add salt to it.
- Now add the fish and let it cook till the fish takes in the lovely masala and the water is absorbed by the heat.
