SHARK CURRY ![]() Ingredients: Shark fish :1/2kg(remove the skin,clean&cut into 1.5''pieces.Shallots/kunjulli:15(chopped)Ginger:1tbs(chopped)Garlic:1tbs(chopped)Green chillies:4(cut in to slits)Curry leaves,a fewFish tamarind/Kudam puli:3-4(clean&soak in water)Coconut Oil:3tbsTo Grind: Grated coconut:1/2cupChilli powder:1tbsCoriander powder:3/4tbsTurmeric powder:1/4tspFenugreek powder:a pinchMethod: Heat 1tbs of oil in a pan on a medium flame&fry coconut till brown.Add chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric&fenugeek&saute for a few more minutes.Remove from heat,when cool grind it into a smooth paste&keep aside.Heat 2tbs of oil in kadai on a medium flame&add chopped onion,ginger,garlic,green chillies&curry leaves .Saute till onion turns light brown.Then add the prepared masala paste& cook,stirring frequently,till the oil begins to separate from the masalaAdd fish pieces,fish tamarind,salt&enough water to cover the fish.Cover&cook for about 10-15 min .Remove the lid, wait till the gravy thickens.Serve hot with rice or kappa.related searches : Taste
