  • Wash the apples and pat them dry with kitchen towel. Cut the apples into fingers shape. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Make a batter of chickpea flour (besan), rice flour , spices to taste and chopped coriander.
  • Add a pinch of baking powder to the batter and mix well. Check the oil by dropping a drop of the batter in the oil.
  • Now fully coat the fingers of apples with the batter and drop it one by one in the hot oil.
  • Fry on medium heat till it turns golden brown. Put the fingers on paper towel to take out the excess oil.
  • Serve it very hot, right from the pan to the platter with tamarind chutney.
