It is usually prepared in a frying pan but today we offer our version prepared with an air fryer: lighter but with the same texture as the traditional recipe. Crispy on the surface and soft on the inside, spaghetti frittata in air fryer will become a dish you will often propose for a quick and tasty dinner but it is also a great idea as a picnic dish. Preparing pasta frittata in air fryer is so easy, follow the step-by-step explained procedure and you choose whether to serve it hot, warm or cold.

Preparation
Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water.
Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl with grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
Drain spaghetti al dente and stir-fry in a pan with butter.
Now pour the spaghetti into the bowl with the egg mixture and stir until all ingredients are incorporated.
Spray the bottom of the mold and the edges with release spray (or line with baking paper), then arrange the noodles and level them.
Cook the pasta frittata in an air fryer (air Fry mode) for 7 minutes at 390°F/200°C, then for 3 minutes at 350°F/180°C.
When cooked, let it cool for a few minutes. Then run a knife between the frittata and the edge of the mold to unmold it more easily.
Plate and serve. Your pasta frittata is ready!

How to tell if the pasta frittata in air fryer is cooked?
Not all air fryers cook the same way so to check if it is cooked, we recommend using a wooden toothpick (or the tip of a knife). Sink it into the pasta frittata; if it comes out dry, it's ready!
What can I add to the pasta frittata cooked in an air fryer?
You can use scamorza cheese and grated pecorino cheese to give it even more flavor. If you want a non-vegetarian version, you can also add diced cold cuts.
How to unmold the pasta frittata cooked in an air fryer?
If you are using single-portion molds without baking paper, we recommend running a knife between the pasta frittata and the edge of the mold. It will come off more easily.
How to prevent the air fryer-cooked dough omelet from sticking to the mold?
There are 3 solutions:
- Use release spray.
- Brush the mold well with melted butter.
- Use baking paper to line the mold.
Can I make a larger omelet in one mold?
Sure. We used single-portion molds but you can use a larger mold. Be careful because cooking times may change.
