Prawn and mango verrines
You thought we were going to leave you without chic recipes for your holiday meal?! Here are our prawn and mango verrines for a sweet/savory combination that your guests will love. An easy-to-make preparation for last-minute verrines that we explain step by step

- 6 verrines glasses
- 1 chopper
- 1 frying pan
- 6 skewers
Preparation
- Remove the prawn skin and leave only the tail.
- Mix the Cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and olive oil. Add the prawns and mix well. You can let them marinate before cooking if you wish.
- Cook the prawn in a skillet over medium heat for about 4 min per side (or more if raw).
- Cut the mango into cubes and keep 6 (for 6 parts). You can keep 6 that are the same size.
- Prick a prawn and a mango cube on a skewer pick.
- Put the remaining mango pieces, lime juice and ginger in a chopper and mix until smooth.
- Divide the mixture among the glasses and place the skewers on top, mango side down.
- And there you are, your verrines are ready !
Observations
How to replace mango coulis?
You can replace the mango coulis with guacamole for example. You can also replace the mango cubes with cherry tomatoes if you wish.
How to replace prawns?
You can replace prawns with scallops, for example.
How to marinate shrimp?
You can make a spicy marinade like us or marinate the shrimp in soy sauce, honey and sesame oil for example. Don’t hesitate to match your favorite spices and make your own skewers.
How do I adjust the amounts of glasses?
Want to make more glasses? You can keep the same amount of mango and simply put less coulis in the glasses :-)
