- To a cup of luke warm water, add the yeast, 1/2 tsp sugar and a pinch of salt. Let it stand for about 5-10 minutes until the yeast forms a froth on top.
- In a bowl, Mix sifted flour and salt. Add the yeast water and enough luke warm water and mix well until it forms a soft dough. Start kneading by adding oil little by little for about 10 minutes.
- Cover and let sit in a warm place for 2-3 hours. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Take the dough on to a flat surface, and dusting with little flour, roll it flat. Grease a baking sheet and lay the rolled dough.
- Brush with oil. Spread the marinara sauce. Add the toppings and cheese and bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and crust turns golden brown.
- Sprinkle some crushed red pepper and garlic powder if preferred.
