Are overripe bananas about to go bad in your fruit bowl? Use them to make this deliciously moist cake. And for even more indulgence, nothing beats chocolate chips :-) An incredibly easy recipe that, thanks to the ripe bananas, will allow you to reduce the added sugar!

3 eggs
1/3 cup melted butter
2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup chocolate chips
50 ml milk
2 tsp baking powder (1 packet)
1 pinch of salt

Preheat your oven to 370°F (190°C). Mash the bananas with a fork and set aside.
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together (flour, baking powder, salt). In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture lightens. Add the milk and melted butter, then mix.
Combine the wet mixture with the dry mixture until you achieve a smooth texture. Add the mashed bananas and mix.
Chop the chocolate bar roughly to create chocolate chips. Incorporate them into the mixture.
Grease and flour a loaf pan, pour in the batter, and bake for 40 minutes.
