Pear and chocolate fudge, the super easy dessert with only 2 ingredients!
Fudge is known for its rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture. This version, with no baking (except for the pears, but that's optional!), gluten-free, no added sugars and no fat, is as healthy as it is indulgent for your sweet cravings :-) All you need is pears and chocolate to create the perfect guilt-free dessert!
Ingredients
Materials
- 1 springform pan
- parchment paper
- 1 blender/chopper
- Pan (optionnal)
Preparation
Peel and cut pears into small pieces.
Pan-fry for a few minutes to soften.
* This step is not mandatory.
Place the pears in the chopper and pour the melted chocolate over them.
Blend until smooth and homogeneous.
Pour batter into a parchment-lined springform pan. Place in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
Carefully remove the parchment paper from the mould. Decorate with pear pieces, unsweetened cocoa powder, flaked almonds...
Observations
To reduce the amount of sugar in the cake, use a chocolate with a low sugar content.
What can I use instead of pears?
You can use apples instead of pears.
How do I store fudge?
Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Can we freeze the fudge?
Yes, you can, but beware of the texture, which will be different afterwards.
What topping should I use for this fudge?
We've used pear slices. You can also add other fruits, nuts or unsweetened cocoa powder, for example!
