Preparation

  • Step 1 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Melt butter in a large pan and cook the onions.
  • Step 2 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Put the onions in the center of a puff pastry roll. Add the raw salmon. Add salt and pepper.
  • Step 3 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Cut the mozzarella into slices and put the slices on top of the salmon. Put the cooked spinach on top. Add salt.
  • Step 4 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Fold the sides of the puff pastry and then the bottom and top.
  • Step 5 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Unroll the second puff pastry and cut it to form a rectangle. Cut some little lines vertically.
  • Step 6 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Put this second puff pastry on top of the stuffed one. Fold the borders under the stuffed puff pastry.
  • Step 7 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    Baste a beatten egg on top and then bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 8 - Crusted salmon with spinach and mozzarella
    There you are, your crusted salmon is ready !
