Puff pastry cod fish

Ingredients

1 puff pastry
1 cod loin
10 oz spinach
1 ball of fresh mozzarella
1 egg yolk
salt
pepper

Preparation

Step 1 - Puff pastry cod fish

Step 1

Unroll the pastry sheet. Apply the spinash in the center, making a fish-like shape. Put the cod fish on top of it.

Step 2

Slice the mozzarella, and put it on the fish. Cut strips of pastry on each side of the fish.

Step 3

Braid the pastry on the fish, one side at a time.
Step 4 - Puff pastry cod fish

Step 4

Close the edges applying pressure on them. Use some pastry to form a tail and stick it at the end. Brush with the egg yolk.

Bake 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
