A funny shaped pie, filled with delicious cod fish, spinash and mozzarella.

Ingredients

Number of serving: 4
1 puff pastry

1 cod loin

10 oz spinach

1 ball of fresh mozzarella

1 egg yolk

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Puff pastry cod fish
    Unroll the pastry sheet. Apply the spinash in the center, making a fish-like shape. Put the cod fish on top of it.
  • Step 2 - Puff pastry cod fish
    Slice the mozzarella, and put it on the fish. Cut strips of pastry on each side of the fish.
  • Step 3 - Puff pastry cod fish
    Braid the pastry on the fish, one side at a time.
  • Step 4 - Puff pastry cod fish
    Close the edges applying pressure on them. Use some pastry to form a tail and stick it at the end. Brush with the egg yolk.
  • Step 5 - Puff pastry cod fish
    Bake 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 6 - Puff pastry cod fish
    There you are, your puff pastry fish is ready!
