Puff pastry twists with red pesto and mozzarella

The ultimate simple and effective recipe for an appetizer is here! And because red pesto is underrated, we decided to highlight it in this recipe. A cousin of classic pesto (green pesto), this one includes sun-dried tomatoes in its recipe. A true delight that will bring sunshine to your appetizer ;-)

- Unroll the puff pastry and spread the red pesto on one half. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella and thyme on top.
- Fold the puff pastry over itself (covering the pesto side) and cut strips about 1 cm wide.
Take each strip between your fingers and twist them to form twists. - Place your twists on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush them with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. - Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C). And there you have it!
