Paal Kolukattai (Steamed Rice balls in Coconut Milk)
Preparation

Mix the rice flour and salt in a bowl. Slowly add water to make a dough. Roll out small dough balls and set aside.

Boil 2.5 cups of water and once it comes to a boil, add the kolukattais and cook for 15 minutes.

To check if the ball is cooked through, press the dough ball and if its not cooked, it will be still doughy.

Once the kolukattais are cooked, add the jaggery into the pot. It should start to disintegrate and thicken the liquid.

Give this 5 minutes and add the coconut milk, grated coconut and cardamom.

Let it rest for a few minutes and serve!
