A cake that is easy to make and tastes ultra fresh thanks to the combination of salmon and lemon.It will be ideal on your aperitif table, to slip into an airtight box for a meal at work or to place on a plate accompanied by a salad for a simple and effective dinner.

  • Moule à cake 24x11 cm

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Take the zest of 1 lemon and the juice of 1/2 lemon. Cut the smoked salmon slices into small pieces and chop the chives.
  • Step 2 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Mix together the eggs, lemon juice, flour, baking powder and pepper.
  • Step 3 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Add the oil and mix then pour in the milk little by little and incorporate it well.
  • Step 4 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Add the garnish (lemon zest, smoked salmon and chives) to the dough and mix well.
  • Step 5 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Pour the batter into the greased cake pan.
  • Step 6 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    Bake the cake in the oven (preheated) for 40 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 7 - Smoked salmon, lemon and chives loaf cake
    And there you are, the cake is ready! Serve it hot or cold ;-)
