Ingredients

Number of serving: 4

Dough:

300 g of flour self awareness

80 g unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into pieces


1 teaspoon salt

65 ml of milk


Filling:

500 g spinach

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 tomato, diced, large

3/4 spoon Parmesan or as much as you want

3 hard-boiled eggs cut in half moitiés-

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ Spoon cream

¼ vegetable spoon Stock

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste (optional)

Spoon ¼ canola oil

2 teaspoon unsalted butter


To brush the top of the Pie:

1 egg yolk, lightly beaten

Preparation

  • Filling:
    In a large skillet, add oil and butter. When the butter is melted jump dice onions until golden brown. Add tomato, spinach, salt, pepper, nutmeg and vegetable broth.
  • Reduce heat and cook until the liquid has evaporated. Add the cream and ½ cup Parmesan cheese.
    Transfer to a plate and refrigerate until cool.
  • Gather dough:
    Preheat oven to 200 ° C / 400 oF.Grease and flour a 29 cm / 11.4 inches about a baking dish.
  • Put aside. In a medium bowl sift flour and salt. Add the pieces of butter.
    Drag the ingredients to the sides of the bowl, creating a large "good" (empty space) in the middle.
  • Add eggs. Start mixing the ingredients by hand and gradually stir in milk. Until the dough begins to come together.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to over-knead. The dough should be firm and moist and smooth.
  • Now comes the working party. Take ¾ parts of the paste and with a roller axis; roll out the dough on a floured surface to ½ / cm to about 0.2 inch thick.
  • When ready to transfer the baking dish and press the dough on top of the sides, cut the excess.
    Pour the mixture / filler in the case of uncooked dough.
  • With a spoon, make small holes in the mixture and place egg halves. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Take the rest of the dough and roll into a 30 cm / 12 inch circle about. Cover pie with the rolled dough. Press the edges together. Pinch a flying around or crimp with a fork.
  • For a final touch, brush with egg yolk. Using switching create a design few leaves over the top.
  • Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until brown and center is Golden. When you are ready let it cool for 10 minutes and serve immediately.
