- When oil is heated, fry the shallots and garlic for 2 mins after which add in the chillies,curry leaves and mustard seeds.Once the seeds starts to pop, add into the boiled dhal.
Pour in the coconut milk, stir and let it simmer over low heat.
Once the small bubbles appear, put in the sweet leaves/cekur manis.
Stir the leaves inside as well as add salt and the calamansi juice. Just let it boil once and remove from heat.
