Into a mixing bowl, add in all the the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Let it marinate for at least 3 hours so that the lamb absorbs all the flavors from the different ingredients added in. Now, heat oil and when heated, add in the marinated lamb. Stir for a couple of minutes, then add about 1 1/2 cups of water to cook and soften the lamb pieces. Once the gravy becomes thick, remove from heat. If there's too much of oil floating on top of the lamb, just skim it away.
