Fast apple turnovers with refrigerated crescent rolls

Number of serving: 15
2 cups peeled, finely-chopped apples

1/3 cups sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)

Dash nutmeg (opt.)

Two 8 ounces cans refrigerated crescent rolls


1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 to 3 teaspoon water


  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together first 5 ingredients; make sure apples are well-coated. Separate dough into 16 triangles.
  • Spoon about 1 rounded tablespoon of apple mixture into the center of each. Fold 3 corners of dough over the filling, overlapping.
  • Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from pans to cool. Combine glaze ingredients and mix till smooth.
  • Drizzle over warm rolls.



This is really simular to one I used in the past, I love thta these are baked instead fried. I usually make everything from scratch and throw it in hot grease.. so nice to not have to work so hard .. just pop the cans, fill the dough and throw them in the oven.. and the family loves them which is awesome since it saves me some major time :-)
