Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Walking our dog Chester on our street has given us the opportunity to befriend a lot of our neighbors. One in particular loves chatting with us all the time, and was generous enough to give us a bunch of apples from his apple tree. We thought it would be fun to make a dessert with it, so we came across a recipe for Apple Cinnamon Rolls. It’s quite a lot of work to do everything from scratch, but we had all the ingredients at home, so we gave it a shot.

I love the colors of these apples! And I love it more because they were free.

Cut the roll into equal pieces and place in the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking pan. Cover the pan with a clean towerl and allow the rolls to rise until at least doubled in size, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. You can also let them rise overnight in the fridge.

After baking in a 350-degree oven for 30-35 minutes, the rolls should come out golden brown.
