Ingredients
Materials
- 1 fork
- 1 spoon
- cling film or freezer bag
- 1 rolling pin or laminator
Preparation
Mound the flour on a work surface or wooden board.
Use a tablespoon to make a well in the center.Break the eggs into the well, then mix in the flour with a fork.
When the eggs are incorporated, finish kneading by hand, taking care not to tear the dough. The dough is ready when all the flour has been incorporated. You can add a little water if the dough is too dry.
Wrap the dough in cling film (or a freezer bag) when ready, and leave to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
After this time, divide the dough into several pieces and roll out the pieces. You can use a rolling pin or a rolling mill. If the dough sticks, add a little flour.
Start by rolling out the dough to its thickest part, then roll out thinner and thinner as you go.
The lasagne is ready! You can resize them if necessary :-)
Observations
How do I store homemade lasagne pasta?
If you want to cook it the same day, store it in a freezer bag.
Can I freeze homemade lasagne pasta?
Yes, but the pasta must not be "stuck" together when stored, so that it can separate. You can place them on a baking tray, separated by baking paper or one by one in cling film, for 1 hour, then group them together to save space in your freezer.
Can I vary the size of the pasta?
Yes, you can make pasta any size you like!
Can you roll the pasta with a rolling pin?
Yes, you can, but it takes more time and energy.
What sauce should I use for lasagne?
Traditionally, we use bolognese sauce (ragù), béchamel sauce and cheese. But anything is possible, and you can adapt the recipe to your taste!
You can make lasagne with ricotta and spinach, or spinach and goat's cheese, for example. Don't hesitate to vary the pleasures and create your favorite combinations, and don't forget we've got a whole host of recipe ideas on the site ;-)
