Ingredients

Number of serving: 6
flour - 150 g

baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon

butter - 120 g

caster sugar - 90 g

vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon

egg - 1

cornflakes - about 50 g

Preparation

  • Sieve the flour & baking powder together. Cream the sugar & butter together.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg & essence together & then add to the creamed mixture. Fold in the flour.
  • Wet the hand with water & divide into small balls.
  • Roll in crushed cornflakes & place on the greased baking tray. Leave enough space between each, because they expand in size.
  • Bake at 160-170 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes until the cookies are Golden.
