- In a bowl mix basan flour, all purpose flour, cooking soda, ajwani or vamu, salt and chill powder and mix well.
Now to this add enough water and make it as thin batter like as pan cake batter. Don’t make it too thin because it won’t stick to the banana slices.
Heat the oil in a pan, maintain heat to medium flame.Now dip the platain slices one by one into the batter, and then drop them slowly into the hot oil.
Mean while turn the bajji's up and down to get cooked bajji fully both inside and out side and fry till they are golden brown.
Drain them on a paper towel and serve hot along with coconut chutney or any other chutney.
