- In a large bowl melt butter and mix with sugar until dissolved.
- Add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Fold in sliced bananas and chopped walnuts to mixture. Fold in sour cream.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
- Use a pastry brush and lightly brush the top with honey. Set aside to cool.
