  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 2Add the cream and mix well. Then gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder.
  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 3Then add the melted butter and chocolate. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.
  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 4Grease the cake mould with butter or vegetable oil. Pour in the dough.
  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 5Preheat the oven at 340°F (170°C) and bake for 45 minutes. Check that the bundt cake is cooked with the help of a toothpick. Gently insert it into the cake: if the dough remains on the toothpick, then you will need to continue baking for a few minutes.

  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 7For the cream cheese frosting :
Combine the cream cheese, icing sugar and hot water. Add food dye according to the colour you want to give.
  • Halloween Bundt Cake - Preparation step 8Frost the cake and then add the little sugar eyes so that it can look at you evilly while you devour it. And there you have it. Your monster or Halloween doughnut is ready!

Observations

Can I store the Halloween doughnut?
Yes. You can store it with a bell cover for a couple of days outside the refrigerator.

Can I freeze the Halloween doughnut?
Of course, but we suggest not to frost it. Prepare the glaze at the last moment.

What mould for the Halloween doughnut?
We used a silicone mould, but this is optional. You can use any cake mould you have. Remember to grease it well if it is not made of silicone.

Can I replace dark chocolate in the Halloween doughnut?
You can use any type of chocolate for this cake. If you use a very sugary type of chocolate, we recommend that you reduce the amount of sugar in both the cake and the icing.
