  • Clean your asparagus, cut off the stringy part at the bottom, and remove the small bumps on the stem using a peeler.
  • Place the bunched asparagus (held vertically by a string, with the tops up) in a pot of cold salted water.
  • Once boiling, cook for 8 to 15 minutes depending on the thickness of your asparagus.
  • When cooked, transfer them to a bowl of ice water to preserve their vibrant green color and firmness, and you're done!
