You read the title right. To take out all the fat out of our brownies, we replaced it with...zucchini! And it was pretty delicious! Have a try and tell us what you thought about it!

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup corn starch

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Zucchini brownies
    Put the egg whites aside, and add the sugar to the yolks. Whisk well. Add the cornstarch and the salt.
  • Step 2 - Zucchini brownies
    Clean the zucchini, and chop it finely. You can also grate it. Add this to the previuous mix.
  • Step 3 - Zucchini brownies
    Melt the chocolate and add it to the batter.
  • Step 4 - Zucchini brownies
    Whisk the egg whites until they form peaks, and add them gently to the batter.
  • Step 5 - Zucchini brownies
    Pour this mix into a square greased mold. Arrange some walnuts on it.
  • Step 6 - Zucchini brownies
    Bake 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 7 - Zucchini brownies
    There you are, your zucchini brownies are ready!
