1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup of sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
4 oz assorted chocolate truffles
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 T plus 1 t. cocoa powder, divided

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Beat together eggs and salt until frothy.
Add sugar. Beat 2-3 minutes until eggs are fluffy and light yellow.
Then add vanilla and beat an additional 30 seconds.
Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe dish, melt together chocolate and butter. Start with one minute in the microwave, then stir, and microwave additional time if necessary to melt everything. Stir again.
With the mixer going, add the truffle and butter mixture. Then add cocoa powder.
To prepare your pan (I used an 8 inch square) spray with cooking spray, then dust with a tsp or so of cocoa powder and shake it around so bottom and sides are coated, shaking out excess.
Pour in batter.
Put in oven, and immediately reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.

Makes 16 2-inch-square brownies.
